Vineyards & Estate
Every Bliss bottle starts on the same Hopland hillside the family has farmed since 1943 — estate fruit from the home ranch, made into honest wine for everyday life.
Bliss Vineyard — Home Ranch
Hopland · est. 1943 · ~550 ft
Where it all began. Irv Bliss started farming this hillside in the foothills above Hopland — across the Russian River from town — in 1943. It's the estate source for the Bliss wines.
Southern Mendocino
Hopland · Mendocino County
Cooler and wilder than its southern neighbors, with steeper hills and smaller growers. Sun-drenched days and cool nights give the wines their bright, fruit-forward character.
Family Farmed
Four generations · since 1943
Solar-powered since 2023, with under-vine cultivators in place of herbicides — the kind of practical, long-term farming you do when you plan to still be here in another four generations.
Bliss wines are estate-grown from the family's home ranch in Hopland, Mendocino County.
