Is the Brutocao Wine Club really free to join?
Yes — there's no sign-up fee, no annual fee, and no minimum number of shipments required. You only pay for the wine you receive, at member pricing.
Can I skip a wine club shipment?
Yes. You can skip any shipment, push it to a later date, or cancel altogether — all from your member account, with no penalty. We'd love to see you stay, but never on terms you didn't choose.
What's the difference between the King Club and the Cub Club?
The King Club ships 12 bottles per shipment with a 25% discount. The Cub Club ships 6 bottles with a 15% discount. Both include Primo Shipping, complimentary tastings, and full customization. Choose based on how often you drink wine and how much you want to save.
What is Primo Shipping?
Primo Shipping is our flat-rate program for wine club members. As long as you're ordering 6 or more bottles, shipping is 1¢ — anywhere in the U.S., any time of year. Standalone, it costs $99/year; for club members, it's included.
How often do shipments come?
Twice a year — Spring (customization window opens mid-March, ships in early April) and Fall (window opens mid-September, ships in early October).
Can I customize what's in my shipment?
Yes, fully. During the customization window, you can swap out any of our default wines for any other Brutocao or Bliss wine in the portfolio. Choose all reds, all whites, or a mix.
Do I have to live near Hopland to join?
No — about 60% of our members are outside California. We ship across most of the U.S. (with a few state restrictions for direct wine shipping). Members visiting Hopland get a complimentary tasting for themselves and a guest, no reservation needed.
How long do most members stay in the club?
The honest answer: a long time. Many of our members have been with us 25+ years. Some have exceeded 35. We treat the club like family — and we've found that people stay when you do.
